Installation

Following your initial discussions with Vulcan Fire, we aim to give you a quotation within 48 hours of receiving your plans. Alternatively one of our surveyors can visit you to assess your requirements and give advice. As soon as you confirm Vulcan Fire as your supplier we will start to work on the design and manufacture stage.

All equipment supplied by Vulcan Fire conforms to the requirements of BS5041 and / or LPCB. We use the highest quality components and equipment, sourced wherever possible from within the UK. All our systems are designed, manufactured and installed to the highest health and safety standards and we are accredited by all the recognised industry bodies.

Safety is our main concern and that is why we hold OHSAS18001:2007. All our engineers are qualified installers of Fixed Fire and Suppression Systems and also hold PASMA cards.

In accordance with BS5306 and BS9990, Dry Riser Systems should be Hydraulically Pressure Tested after installation. Following all our installations or repair work we carry out these tests and issue the appropriate Commissioning and / or Test Certificate.

Testing, Servicing & Maintenance

The British Standard recommends that all systems are serviced every six months and Hydraulically Pressure Tested annually.

Our engineers carry out this type of work regularly and we have vehicles which carry the necessary pumping and testing equipment to cater for all types of Riser System.
